Parent Association meetings will be held on 3rd Wednesday of the month, unless otherwise noted.
The Parent Association
Executive Board is responsible for maintaining and safeguarding the records of the association. Financial records are all records that reflect income, expenditures and other financial transactions.
The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a group of people who develop the school's Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP) and educational policies for their school. They also make sure there are resources to support those policies.
Title I Parent
Advisory Council
Title I PAC is a consultative and representative body that involves and engages all Title I parents of participating students in the Title I program.
The Dual Language Parent Committee supports all facets of the Chinese Dual Language Program at PS/IS 102Q Bayview by promoting and enriching the program.
Education Councils are part of New York City's school governance structure. There is a Community Education Council (CEC) for every community school district.
The Citywide Council on Special Education (CCSE) advocates on behalf of all students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEP) in New York City.
The Cityweide Council on English Language Learners (CCELL) advocates on behalf of all students in bilingual, dual language and ENL programs.
The New York City Department of Education offers free breakfast, lunch and after school meals to all NYC public school students during the school year.
COMPASS NYC’s middle school model, renamed SONYC (School’s Out New York City), serves as a pathway to success for youth in 6th - 8th grades. The program is offered at no cost.
